Vibration-induced White Finger (VWF) is the most common symptom of hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS).
Vibration White Finger affects workers using vibratory, rotating or percussive hand guided power tools. |

The symptoms of Vibration White Finger are debilitating and can limit the jobs an affected person is able to do,
as well impacting on many social activities. The symptoms do not become apparent immediately after the initial exposure to
vibration and workers may not complain of symptoms for months or even years after exposure.

It is not clear how vibration causes the condition.
